  • Take study breaks for approximately 15-30 minutes when you are not doing homework.

  • Exercise/ engage in physical activity.

  • Eat healthy.

  • Get enough sleep.

  • Talk to someone you trust. Maybe they can help. Mentors are great for this!

  • Listen to music.

  • Read a "fun" book.

  • Practice good time management.

  • Make a To Do List.

  • Contact the Listening Ear (http://www.theear.org/) or the MSU Counseling Center (http://www.couns.msu.edu/).

  • Set aside time every day to unwind and relax.

  • Have fun!

  • Try not to think about school projects, exams, etc. before going to bed.

  • Don't procrastinate. Procrastination equals stress!
